Anime / Manga? Entertaining Past - Time while waiting for GW2 to come around
Well I managed to get into anime like 6 months ago when I was playing Perfect World (Free MMORPG) and the Guild Leader was interested in it himself and got me into it. Since then I've been loving it.
What Anime / Manga do you guys watch? Oh yeah, those who don't watch it try it, it'll be a entertaining past-time while your waiting for GW2 and its much better then the stereotypical Pokémon and kiddy view most people seem to have about it. It is aimed at all ages - from under 10 to like 12-16 or 16+ and all genres like Comedy, Action, Supernarutal, Horror, Romance etc. I seriously recommend it for everyone. You can watch it off Youtube or other sites like http://www.animeseason.com/anime-list/ratings/
Well I've watched:
- Bleach
- Naruto
- Death Note
- Code Geass (Process)
- Cowboy Bebop
- Full Metal Panic (Process)
I Recommend:
- Bleach (Supernarutal, Comedy, Action etc.)
- Death Note (Investigative, Supernatural)
- Code Geass (Mecha, Supernatural, Action)
I'm currently not into Manga as much as Anime but you can get it from many places such as http://www.mangafox.com/. Manga are comic form of anime and they are further then the anime series, often 10 episodes or so. Fillers are there in animes when the Anime becomes too close in storyline to the Manga. Some like it also because they prefer reading.
For more recommendations I suggest: http://www.anime-eden.com/forums/sho...=2057&page=205
For good downloader off youtube I suggest VDownloader (Google it)
What about you guys?
What do you guys recommend?

Eyeshield 21. It recently finished the manga at 333 chapters, and 69 episodes have been subbed and made available on crunchyroll.com (145 were made)
I liked the Read or Die OAV, didn't like the tv series as much, haven't read the manga.
Liked the manga Gokusen. Waiting for more scanlations
Added in: Gantz and Berserk. Cant believe I forgot those two.

Manga is a lot better than anime.
I've read:
- Bleach
- Naruto
- Elfen Lied
- Full Metal Alchemist (chapter 51)
- Death Note (chapter 94)
- Great Teacher Onizuka + Shounen (chapter 6)
- Dragon Ball ;d
- Ane Doki
From Anime-only:
- Gilgamesh
- Last Exile
And that's all. Probably the next thing I'll do after reading FMA and Death Note, I'll find a new manga.

I don't really follow anime/manga much anymore. The only thing new I've seen in the past few years is Lucky Star and Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Both of which I loved, of course. But I find it difficult to get into anything from the past five years.
Which is kind of funny, as I've been attending anime conventions for years and work for one of the largest in the US.
Sailormoon is and always will be my favorite; my collection of Sailormoon stuff is huge and worth at least $1000 these days. Yeah, I'm definitely a girly-girl in a lot of ways I was addicted to Dragonball Z back in high school. Cowboy Bebop is amazing, as are Evangelion and Escaflowne. Others I've seen/read and liked a lot were Hellsing, Love Hina, Vampire Princess Miyu, Fruits Basket, Trigun, Gundam Wing, .hack/Sign, Pilot Candidate/Candidate for Goddess (I know very few people who really know much about this one, even though it was played on Adult Swim/Toonami like three times), Di Gi Charat, Full Metal Panic...

The only anime I actually like to watch is Ghost in the Shell and Cowboy Bebop.
Anything besides that just pops my blood vessels.

These two are pretty good.
So far my favorites are Hellsing OVAs and Death Note before a certain person dies.
Didn't read any mangas and most I don't like other animes I've seen.

It wasn't that bloody.
Sure, it shows realistic decapitations (along with spinal cords and so on), insides being ripped out of people and a lot of people you will come to like will die.

Elfen Lied for sure, Ghost in the Shell, Rozen Maiden is alright, I wish it was better. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is alright, kinda weird but it's also unfinished. Not like it would matter though since there is no definite order the episodes are supposed to go in.
Cowboy Bebop is pretty good as is FLCL.
And no matter what anyone tells you, Blood+ and that Bobo Bobobo suck.
Ooh Witch Hunter Robin you should watch, Death Note is pretty good although I hold that if they were to make a character that looks like Ryuk, he should have fought someone and Samurai Champloo is worth watching.
My favorite though is Full Metal Alchemist and My Hime was wayyy better than I expected it to be.

Please to more obscure stuff.
I've seen 2/3ish of Death Note, 60 eps of Bleach, all of Code Geass, but...
My favorite shows personally are Kanon, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, the Macross series, and various other things.
Whisper me in-game if you want me to make reference jokes.

The only Anime I ever watch, aside from a few movies, is what comes on [adult swim]. So, based on that, my faves are:
Cowboy Bebop
Bleach
FMA
GitS
Death Note (first time around - not that great to rewatch)
Paranoia Agent
Samurai Champloo
Inuyasha
Rurouni Kenshin (and the Samurai X prequel/sequel series)
Lupin III
I've seen every episode of all of the above, with the exception of the only series that is still going, Bleach. Oh yeah, I have seen a few other series, but haven't been terribly impressed with them. I still wouldn't consider myself any kind of anime fanboy, especially because I have a couple of friends that could definitely qualify for that title, and I'm nowhere near their obsession. Aside from a few movies, and a couple of partial series on DVD, I have nothing anime-related in my possession.
I also dislike anything that deals with huge mechs of any kind, which rules out like 50% of anime out there.
